Great resource for KS1 themed St Valentine's Day. Reading, writing, and drawing activities which can be printed out as a complete workbook for the entire day or as individual worksheets. Comprehension on a party invitation, writing sentences, poems, verses, words and meanings, common and proper nouns.

This resource is for Upper KS1 and KS2. It consists of a wordbank with words related to bullying and worksheets for the children to discuss with each other or as a class and then write their own feelings and opinions on bullying. They also have to design an antibullying poster. I have also included a powerpoint presentation for classroom use during Talking and Listening time.

This is the third in the series of My Colour Books for Early years and KS1 children. It is themed for Summer with colourful graphics. The tasks are to complete sentences using the correct colours, visual awareness is important and recognition of colours essential. There are also two wordmaps which could be laminated one on Seaside words and one on colours. These could be used as aids for writing ecxercises. The children will also be asked to complete some reading activities putting in a missing colour word, this will test understanding of what has been read. This can also be bought as part of a bundle.

A great resource for Roald Dahl celebrations. A set of general discussion prompts on the novels written by Roald Dahl. Themes include Orphans, Bullying, Violence, Character Traits, Settings, Single Parents, Plots. I would suggest this could be used as a whole class Talking and Listening task or as a group task. I have included a powerpoint presentation. Feel free to adapt it to any novel you are studying.

This resource includes a pdf file and a powerpoint presentation .It is a fun activity for EYFS and KS1 to be used on Shrove Tuesday/ Pancake Day. There are a variety of writing and drawing activities. I have included an information sheet on Shrove Tuesday with a few simple comprehension questions. The story of the Runaway Pancake, written in child friendly vocabulary could be read to the class or by the children themselves. Follow-on activities include drawing activities, writing an acrostic poem, my favourite topping for a pancake, a recipe to make pancakes and a sequencing activity. I have also included a sheet If the pig hadn't eaten the pancake what would have happened. Hope you all have fun using this.
